About Coso
SCPPA entered into a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement with Coso Geothermal Power Holdings, LLC for 17.5MW – 55.3 MW (depending on contract year) of long-term geothermal renewable energy. The Coso geothermal project is located in Inyo County, California and began making deliveries to SCPPA on January 1st, 2022.

Fiscal Year 2021-2022

This fiscal year, Coso delivered 78,135 MWhs of energy, realizing a 99% capacity factor in its first partial year of deliveries to SCPPA.
