About Canyon

The Canyon Power Project is a peaking facility located on a ten acre plot in the center of Anaheim, California's industrial center. This project is utilized by Anaheim Public Utilities during the summer to satisfy customer peak demand as well as provide reserves requirements as required by the Cal ISO's reliability mandates. The project is designed to meet best available control technology and lowest achievable emission rate requirements as required by the South Coast Air Quality Management District.
