Training Facility Use by SCPPA Members and Third-Parties Policy


SCPPA MEMBERS –
SCPPA will to the extent practical and not otherwise subject to use for SCPPA related training or other SCPPA activity, allow SCPPA Members to use the SCPPA Training Facility for training and meeting purposes. All costs relating to the use of the Training Facility and providing access to the Training Facility to a SCPPA Member will be charged to the SCPPA Member seeking to use the SCPPA Training Facility. SCPPA will provide an advance estimate of the costs—based on the number of days, number of participants and other relevant factors—to the SCPPA Member which shall be paid by the SCPPA Member at least five days in advance of the SCPPA Member’s use of the SCPPA Training Facility.

NON-SCPPA MEMBER UTILITIES OR GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES –
SCPPA will consider requests to use the SCPPA Training Facility by other non-SCPPA Member utilities or government agencies for training or meeting purpose on a case-by-case basis.

ALL OTHER THIRD PARTIES –
SCPPA has considered the option of availing non-member third parties with use of the SCPPA Training Facility at a cost, based upon an internal analysis such an option is not likely to be beneficial to SCPPA. Given this, SCPPA does not currently intend on availing access to the SCPPA training facility to third parties.
