SCPPA Participants: Burbank, Glendale, LADWP

SCPPA Participation

Pebble Springs Wind Project was SCPPA's first wind project. In 2007, SCPPA signed a Power Purchase Agreement with Iberdrola Renewables for energy output of the Pebble Springs. This agreement is for 18 years and has the option to purchase the entire project after 10 years. The project is located in Gilliam County, Oregon which is east of Mt. Hood National Forest. There are 47 Suzlon S88/2100 2.1MW turbines that make up the Pebble Springs Wind Project. Each turbine has a rotor diameter of 88 meters and hub height of 80 meters.

Quarterly Update (October 2016)

Generation is stronger than last year, despite a drop off in August. However, Pebble Springs has not reached the pre-COD forecast of 32% annual NCF.
