The anticipated SCPPA Training Center has finally been completed and is ready to be put to use! This newly-designed building, built by SCPPA members, will be utilized to host training events and classes that help serve and enhance SCPPA members and their cities. This new building can accommodate over 70 students and consists of two conference rooms, as well as space for expansion. 2016 was a hugely successful year for SCPPA training events and unprecedented in number of attendees. We are confident that this success will continue in 2017. There are currently five scheduled training events for the first half of the year. The first of these will be the “APPA Cybersecurity Capability Maturity Model (C2M2) Workshop” held February 9-10.
